Introduction to Interior Design - Part 1 (6-week course)

6-week course running for six consecutive 2-hour sessions from the start time listed below.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Introduction to Interior Design will give you the practical skills and knowledge to create a design for a domestic space. Through workshops you will develop your design awareness and learn the fundamentals of planning an interior design scheme.
You will be introduced to three-dimensional thinking and analysis as you begin to plan and stylise a residential interior space. There will be an emphasis on developing your practical design skills as you learn how to produce scale drawings, mood boards and sample boards. In addition, you'll find out where to source materials and how to create that designer look.
If you have a passion for interiors, have a project you would like to work through or simply want to gain some new ideas for your home, come along to this six-week course and enjoy yourself.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Our Tutor, Julie, is a very experienced creative Lecturer of 19 years. She studied interior design 22 years ago and has been passionate about interiors ever since. Julie is an experienced practitioner in Interior Design and has also worked and taught within the theatre industry in set design. This is a fun and friendly course and half time biscuits will be provided!
WHAT TO BRING
Lined notebook, pen, pencil, and pictures of interiors that inspire you. Other materials will be provided.
