Pottery - Raku Firing
with Helen Neighbour & Adam Hoyle

Discover the beautiful art of Japanese raku pottery firing in this special one-day course.
Students can bring 6-8 pieces of bisque-fired work to fire in our special outdoor raku kiln. Experiment with this exciting firing technqiue, and use items such as horsehair or feathers to create unique patterns on your ceramics.
Please bring an apron and closed-toed shoes with you. This class takes place outside, so be sure to dress for all-weathers! All students will get a chance to try out the firing process, but there may not be time to fire every item you bring.
