Watercolour for Beginners - Part 2 (3-week course)

3-week course running for three consecutive 2.5-hour sessions from the start dates and times listed below.
ABOUT THE CLASS
Part 2 of the Beginners Watercolours course – it is advisable to have attended the ‘Beginners watercolours Part 1’ course before booking onto this one, or have some experience using watercolours. We will paint various new subjects with this beautiful medium, exploring further techniques such as using pen, painting trees, making a painting yours, and experimental techniques.
In this course, you'll build on the basics of watercolour painting and develop the skills needed to create beautiful works of art. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the beauty and versatility of watercolours further.

WHAT TO BRING
(Bundles of watercolour paints / brushes are available at the QPAC Art Shop)
Selection of watercolour paints (either pans or tubes)
Selection of brushes (such as Daler Rowney size 8 and 2 round, and at least one flat brush 1/2 inch - 1 inch, and a fan brush)
Masking fluid (needle tip or bring a brush to use with this),
Small natural painting sponge
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Leila Ward is a Tring-based artist who studied Art and Design at Loughborough University School of Art and Design. She has experimented with different mediums over the years, and particularly likes drawing/ painting animals, and using watercolour, acrylic, and printing techniques. Leila enjoys making art more accessible to others, showing people that anyone can create art.
