Chair Caning for Beginners (2-week course)

This course runs for two sessions - 6 & 13 February, from 10am to 4pm

ABOUT THE COURSE

Learn the traditional art of chair caning - a great chance to repair old furniture to brighten up your home.

You can either bring an old chair with cane still attached to then remove and replace, or if the caning has already been removed, jump straight in!

Chairs can be aquired on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or from your local Household Recycling Centre. All cane will be supplied.

WHAT TO BRING

- A chair to cane

- Bradawl

- Scissors

- Small hammer

- Pliers

- Narrow screwdriver
