ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Chinese for Beginners...it’s not as hard as you think! It is as easy as ABC and 123, when you know the basic tools. You'd be surprised what you can learn in only 2 hours a week.

This class offers students the opportunity to learn Mandarin Chinese language, working at a beginner level. Students will also be able to learn about calligraphy. This is a great chance for anyone with an interest in linguistics to learn a new language.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Jay is a multi-linguist who has studied in Beijing and volunteered for QPAC for several years, working with students in workshops, attending events, and helping run front of house during performances. He's now bringing his expertise in languages to students as a tutor.
