Jazz Workshop (Weekly Class)

with Rick Atkins

Wednesdays (2pm-4pm) during term time.

This weekly workshop will cover learning a tune and improvising around it, as well as analysis of the chords and scales.

Bring along your own instrument and music stand and you'll have a chance to study the following musical types - New Orleans jazz, Swing, Bepop, Blues, Latin.

The class is led by volunteer Rick Atkins. Rick is a jazz enthusiast wants to share his love of the genre with others. Rick plays guitar in the Sound Force Big Band.
