This class invites you to explore watercolours in a relaxed expressive way - no rigid rules, just colour, movement and your creative instinct. Learn to trust your brush, respond to the paint and create beautiful spontaneous art that reflects your unique style. Perfect for beginners, or anyone wanting to loosen up and reconnect with their creative spark.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Colin is a local artist specialising in watercolours, exhibiting his work his work in different galleries around the UK.

MATERIALS NEEDED

Essential materials:

300gsm paper - A2. (Not cold pressed watercolour paper) 2-3 pieces needed.

A standard set of watercolour paints (tray or tube)

Standard paint brushes (a small variety of shapes and sizes is recommended)

Many of these materials (paints included) can be purchased from the Centre's Art Shop (see reception for details). Similar tools can be borrowed from the Centre on the day, however specificity and condition cannot be guaranteed.
