Belly Dance (Beginners)

Mondays (7pm-8pm) during term time.

This class is designed to help you to feel good about yourself, get fit and have fun whatever your age, shape or size.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At the beginning we will warm up using the basic steps of bellydance to activate our body, to get ready and prevent injuries or strains, and to integrate them.

Then we will do step routines with background music to learn new steps and combinations of movements, always with the aim of practising and improving the level.

We will apply and unify all that we learn in choreographies. We’ll dance the different percussion rhythms and oriental dance styles.

Finally, we will cool down and do a bit of stretching to relax the muscles and maintain our flexibility and range of movements.
