Learn the basics of top whorl drop spinning with Alex.

You will come away knowing how to spin wool singles, setting twists and how to ply two yarns together.

Drop spindle and wool provided within the cost.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Alex is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Textile Design and is based in Chesham. He is an embroiderer, natural dyer and spinner inspired by historical textiles, maps, natural materials and pre-loved fibres.

He was awarded the Embroiderers Guild Graduate award in 2019 and has exhibited at the Knitting and Stitching Show and currently has his work in Little Wren Collections in Great Missenden.
