Needle Felting & Embellishment

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Suitable for beginners or those wishing to brush up on needlefelting techniques.

You will create a needle felted wool artwork, with hand and/or machine stitching embellishment using embroidery threads, yarn and fabric scraps.

We will focus on how to use the tools safely and blending dyed wool fibres to achieve depth and perspective. Iron on fabric stabiliser will be used to secure the work. At the end of the session, you will take home your own uniqueartwork ready for framing.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Marie is a second career, self taught fibre artist with a passion for wool crafts. There’s always something new to learn! She enjoys participating in art fairs and exhibitions. These include MS Centre Pop Up Art Weekend, Longwick Art Show, Sally Evans Events, Thame Art Crawl, Chiltern Made Craft Fair.
