ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Mindfulness yoga incorporates the practice of mindfulness within the practice and is conducive for students physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. The class includes warm up, joint loosening, stretching, yoga poses, breathing practices (pranayama) meditation and relaxation.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Helena is a yoga teacher trained in classical Hatha yoga, and a minded yoga therapist and teen yoga instructor. She has been teaching yoga since 1998 mainly within NHS settings until she retired in 2015.
Since her retirement, Helena has been teaching in various community settings and, for the last two years since lockdown, has been teaching her classes via Zoom.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring a yoga mat with you. You may also wish to bring additional cushions for support, and/or a blanket / shawl.
