Yoga & Mindfulness – Beginners and Intermediate

Come and try authentic Classical Hatha Yoga, which can support both physical and mental wellbeing.
Please note that sessions on Tues 19 May and Tues 16 June will be covered by tutor Hina Pancholi (who happens to also run meditation at QPAC!)
Sessions will incorporate warming up and stretching, yoga posture and breathing practices, as well as elements of relaxation, meditation and chanting.
As a practice, Hatha yoga sessions integrates gentle to moderate physical exercise with mindfulness and awareness, encouraging your attention to shift from ‘doing’ to just ‘being’.
We welcome complete beginners as well as those with some yoga experience.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Helena has been teaching Yoga in various forms since 1985. She completed her Instructor Training in Classical Vivekenanda Yoga 1998 under the Indian Institute.
Helena also has interests in Qigong, Tai Chi and Complementary Therapy. As a teacher at Queens Park she runs further sessions in Tai Chi Qigong and Yoga.
