Open Art Studio Summer Sessions

An opportunity for artists to get together and work on projects of their choosing in the friendly, creative, and inspiring environment of the QPAC painting studio.

Open to any level of ability, from novices to very experienced artists. Whilst this is not a tutored class, open studio sessions are a chance to learn from fellow artists, share your work and discuss your art form. We have easels, drawing boards and other communal resources.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your own choice of materials.

Oil paints are welcomed; however participants must bring in your own mediums/brush cleaner. Only low odour solvents are permitted in the studio – brands such as Zest-It and Sansodour. Please bring plenty of jam jars so that you can take solvent waste home with you, it must not be put down the sink. 

The centre also has an art shop (at reception) where materials can be purchased individually/by the sheet.
