ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

A new workshop, where each session we will try a new, simple, playful, and quick art exercise, drawing into your own sketchbook.

My hope is that this will be a low-pressure way to leap the hurdle of making a mark, and get over that beautiful blank sketchbook feeling!

Could be helpful for anyone trying to develop your practice, make work for a portfolio, or just for fun. Any level of experience welcome.

Please bring your sketchbook, A4 size recommended. Basic drawing materials provided on the night, please note there may be a small materials charge when specialist materials are used.

These sessions are for adults or teens from 14+.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

After teaching in the centre’s outreach art programmes, Ellie joined the admin team full-time at Queens Park in 2022.

Ellie is interested in the benefits of sharing creative activity with others. Favourite artists? Kathryn Maple and Rozi Hathaway.
