Introducing Botanical Printing 2 day Workshop
with Dawn Ramsay
Mon 28 & Tue 29 Oct 10am-1.30pm
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
A fun, eco-friendly printing workshop using the natural dyes held in everyday plants to make prints. Dawn will share her expertise and participants will get to have a go at creating the varied and beautiful effects that come from using particular plants and leaves.
The first morning will cover a method of printing with plants onto paper, and then on day two the prints are revealed and participants will have the chance to bind them into a book.
Materials are provided, but those taking part will be encouraged to collect and bring along leaves and foliage to use and share for printmaking. The arts centre will contact all participants in advance with some suggestions for good plants to bring.
Please bring an apron or wear old clothes.
