Botanical Eco-Printing on Paper (2-day workshop)

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

A fun, eco-friendly printing workshop using the natural dyes held in everyday plants to make prints on paper. Dawn will share her expertise and participants will get to have a go at creating the varied and beautiful effects that come from using particular plants and leaves.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Dawn Ramsay studied fabric design, later on becoming interested in sustainable materials and natural dyes she now keeps a dye garden of plants grown to dye fabrics, yarn and paper.

WHAT TO BRING

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Materials are provided, but those taking part are encouraged to collect and bring along leaves and foliage to use and share for printmaking. The arts centre will contact all participants in advance with some suggestions for good plants to bring.

Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the QPAC Coffee Bar onsite.
