Loose Watercolour Landscape Painting (one-day course)
with Colin Stokes
Saturday 24 October | 10am - 4pm
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Discover the freedom of loose watercolour. Colin will instruct participants on 'wet in wet' techniques, mark making, composition, tonal values and wet-into-dry painting. Participants will create one or two landscape paintings in a loose and abstract style over the course of the workshop. Perfect for beginners, or anyone wanting to loosen up and reconnect with their creative spark.
ABOUT THE TUTOR
Colin is a local landscape and figurative artist based in Aylesbury. He creates atmospheric works that explore stillness, light and quiet observation. Colin's work focusses on subtle tonal harmony, restrained palettes and moments of calm reflection. Colin studied at Macclesfield College of Art and Brownstone studios in Pennysylvania USA, and regularly exhibits at regional art fairs and galleries while continuing to develop a refined, process led studio practice.
