Children's Sewing and Crafting: Journey in a Tin

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

Join tutor V Hayward to craft a little interactive 'journey' and a character to embark on it! We will create all the elements to fit inside a beautiful tin and reuse old materials, fabrics, papers and more along with wonderfully tactile felt to add details along the way. We will be learning and using handstitches to add texture to each element and to join pieces together in a sustainable and thoughtful manner.

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring a snack and a bottle of water, or there is a coffee bar on site. There will be a break to eat your snack during the workshop. Materials are provided but if you have beads, fabric scraps or other collected materials, you would be welcome to bring them along to incorporate. You may also want to bring photos of your favourite walk or journey as inspiration for your crafting!
