'The Tempest'

presented by Unbound

3-4 July | 7.30pm

Written by William Shakespeare

Directed by Erika Sanderson

Shakespeare's final masterpiece is brought to vivid, magical life in this brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.

Long ago, Prospero dedicated his life to the study of magic and paid the price for his devotion. Usurped of his dukedom and banished to a remote island with his infant daughter Miranda, he vowed to have his revenge.

Now, many years later, the opportunity has finally come. Summoning a storm, Prospero brings a ship carrying those who usurped him crashing to the shore, where a magical reckoning awaits...

This new take on Shakespeare's classic play is produced by QPAC's award-winning in-house storytelling company, Unbound.

The production will also be touring to other venues around Buckinghamshire as part of this year's Shakespeare Festival. For more information, visit www.unboundtheatre.co.uk
