The Show
When a salty old sailor arrives at the Admiral
Benbow Inn, young Jim Hawkins and his mother soon find themselves swept
up in a nautical adventure. Discovering a mysterious map that leads the
way to buried treasure, they set sail upon the high seas.
However, not everyone aboard their ship is who they first appear. Before Jim can locate the lost gold, he must face the fearsome pirate known as Long John Silver…
Presented in our magical Unbound Library – where stories really do come
to life – this swashbuckling and side-splitting adventure has everything
you want from a family panto: colourful characters, silly slapstick,
sing-a-long songs and delightful dances. Created by our award-winning
theatre company Unbound, alongside the talented dancers from SDSD.
The
performance runs approx. 2hrs, inclusive of a 20min interval.
Age Range & Access
We endeavour to welcome all ages to our
pantomimes, however we appreciate that the flurry of colours, lights,
and sounds may be a bit much for very young visitors. Our Coffee Bar is
available as a quiet space during the performance for patrons struggling
to settle.
If you have any access requirements regarding seat reservations, please make sure you let us know either by adding a note to your online booking, or giving us a call on 01296 424332. We can cope with just about anything, so long as we know in advance!
Latecomers
The venue is open one hour before the stated show
start time. Access to the auditorium is usually 10-15mins before
curtain-up. As seating is unallocated, please ensure that you arrive
ahead of time, as we will not be able to admit latecomers once the show
has started.
