ABOUT THE CLASS
If you've always wanted to learn how to draw, but weren't sure where to start, you're in the right place. This course is designed to teach you the basics of drawing, from understanding shapes and proportions to shading and texture.
In this course, you'll learn:
The fundamental principles of drawing, including line, shape, form, and space
How to draw basic objects and still life’s, including fruit and flowers
Techniques for shading and adding texture to your drawings
How to create the illusion of depth and perspective in your drawings
Tips for working with different pencils, rubbers, and other equipment.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience with drawing, this course is perfect for anyone who wants to improve their skills and build a strong foundation in drawing. By the end of the course, you'll have completed several projects and have a solid understanding of the principles of drawing, giving you the confidence to continue your artistic journey. So grab your pencils and let's get started!

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Leila Ward is a Tring-based artist who studied Art and Design at Loughborough University School of Art and Design. She has experimented with different mediums over the years, and particularly likes drawing/ painting animals, and using watercolour, acrylic, and printing techniques. Leila enjoys making art more accessible to others, showing people that anyone can create art.
