Warli is a tribal art practiced in the western part of India. In this workshop participants will learn about its history and create their own interpretations of this ancient art.

There is an infinite range of patterns that can be made in grid form. This course examines laid work, a method of stitching grids and adding further stitch to make patterns.

DESIGN AND STITCH – INSPIRED BY ZANDRA RHODES

Make simple linear marks on paper and explore methods of arranging them into patterns before interpreting the marks using creative hand stitch. Suitable for all levels.
