A very special pub-themed Shakespeare revue, performed in our Limelight Bar as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival.

Join us for a whole host of speeches, scenes, sonnets, songs, and original comedy sketches in celebration of Shakespeare's unique take on pubs, alehouses, and drinking in general!

From the antics of Falstaff in the Boar's Head Tavern to Sir Toby's drunken revels in Illyria, this raucous and lively show is a testament to how the Bard of Avon belongs to everyone (especially those who like a tipple).

This light-hearted celebratory show is produced by Buckinghamshire's award-winning in-house storytelling company, Unbound.

    'Twelfth Night' (24-25 Jul)

Good News - after almost performing the wrong play at last year's festival, our troupe have knuckled down, gotten their act together and promised that this year's show will be flawless.     'A Midsummer Night's Dream' (6-8 Aug)

    6-8 August | 7.30pm 8 August | 2.30pm Written by William Shakespeare Directed by Dario Knight One of Shakespeare's best loved plays brings love, laughter and magic to the Limelight Theatre in a brand-new adaptation as part of the 2026 Buckinghamshire Shakespeare Festival. Lysander and Hermia are on the run. Having fled the fury of a father and a tyrant who forbid their love, the couple find themselves lost in the woods, their friends Demetrius (Hermia's state-sanctioned suitor) and Helena (Demetrius' spurned admirer) close behind. They're not the only strangers in the forest, however. A troupe of local actors are preparing for a Royal Command performance and they - like the lost lovers - are about to fall under the spell influence of the true rulers of the ancient woodland... This breathtaking new adaptation of Shakespeare's iconic play is produced by QPAC's award-winning in-house storytelling company, Unbound.
